This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is processed when you use Stock Radar (package name: com.stockradar.app, the "App"). Stock Radar is a portfolio companion app that tracks the stocks you hold and sends you signals, dividend schedules, and weekly reports.
1. Account Information
- Google Sign-In — When you sign in with your Google account, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile picture URL. This is used solely to create and identify your Stock Radar account.
- Without an account — Market data, news, rankings, and calculators work without signing in. An account is required only for portfolio-based features (holdings, signals, reports, dividends).
2. Portfolio Data
- What — The ticker symbols, share counts, and average costs you enter (or import) are stored on our servers, linked to your account, so your portfolio can be analyzed and synced across sessions.
- Screenshot import (OCR) — If you choose to import holdings from a brokerage screenshot, the image you select is uploaded and processed by an AI model to extract ticker symbols and quantities. The image is used only for this extraction and is not shared with third parties for other purposes.
- Deletion — You can delete individual holdings in the App at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
3. Notifications
If you enable push notifications, a device push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) is stored to deliver holding signals, dividend reminders, and weekly report alerts. You can turn each notification type on or off in the App's settings.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium features are offered via Google Play subscriptions. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play; we never see your payment details. We store only the purchase token needed to verify your subscription status.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App shows ads via Google AdMob. The following may be collected automatically by the advertising provider:
- Advertising ID
- Device information (model, OS version, screen size, etc.)
- Approximate location (IP-based)
- App usage and ad interaction data

6. Market Data and Community Content
Stock prices, news, and community discussion feeds shown in the App are retrieved from public market-data sources. Your identity is never sent to these sources. Investment information shown in the App — including AI-generated analysis — is for reference only and is not investment advice.
7. Data Retention and Security
- Account and portfolio data are retained while your account is active and deleted upon account-deletion request.
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled servers.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
